Vongduern Villa @ Samet Island - your home away
from home, where all that's required are slippers and
sunscreen .. oh, and of course some money, unless you are
an expert dish washer. However, since our motto is our home
is your home, you are always welcome to wash a dish or two,
if you feel you must. Otherwise, sit back, relax and enjoy.
As our home of Samet
island is a national reserve, we have kept
our landscape design attuned to the preservation of the island's
'natural' habitat - plenty of big trees and green central
area. Our bungalows are nestled away in our lucious gardens,
so as not to detract from the
beauty of the seaside. A myriad of shaded nooks have been
created with the dual purpose of providing an escape from
the heat for all of the guests and homes for the aboriginal
fauna of the island. By integrating our lives and home with
the natural setting of Ao Vongduern, we hope to inspire others
to find ways to cherish and preserve our national treasure.
The management style here is simple, every one of
our staff is an integral part of the Villa family, including
the K-9 crew. Every member of the
Villa family is treated with respect and dignity which shines
through in their smiling service to all of our guests. We
encourage suggestions
and comments from our staff and guests alike.
